TestimonialsMany of the participants on Kate Nirlipta's retreats have written to share their thoughts. Here are some testimonials ...Thank you Nirlipta for your kind nature! I will miss your skill as a teacher. Nicole
Editor California, USA The retreat content was an excellent balance of activity and relaxation and as a whole was a very positive experience. The organisation was professional and thoughtful. The teaching excellent and the venue outstanding. I had hoped to become more flexible and begin to develop more strength – as I'm feeling both stronger and more flexible it worked! The increased understanding of meditation was a bonus. My main learning was the power of the Breath. I would definitely recommend this retreat to other people. Loved it all! I would be interested in next year's Bali experience and I intend to come down for one of your weekend retreats this year. Thankyou for your patience with us all! We were often a chatty lot. Barbara Thomson Teacher Sydney The purpose of my journey was to be present. To be present and watch how I am and who I am in relationship. I feel an enormous levity upon completion. A tremendous psychic weight has been eased as I walk with renewed strength and compassion. Mary Ferguson Bermagui, NSW The Balinese culture is so slow – I just want to slow down my life like them. Thanks very much Nirlipta – you are a Beautiful Lady, it has been a pleasure to get to know you as much as we have been able to and look forward to being with you again. Diana Liddelow Secretary Brisbane Nirlipta's classes are designed for all levels of flexibility whether a beginner or long term yoga practioner. There is a welcoming atmosphere within the room and class. Kate has a calming voice with a clear and soothing resonance carefully invading your psyche, so that you are directed and grounded with her instructions. Kate's teaching almost seems intuitive and I often get just what I need at the time, whether this is a stretch for a tight back, a new breathing technique, or a positive meditational experience. I always leave calmer than when I arrived. Jo Westol Physiotherapist Narooma, NSW I was able to do yoga and meditation every day and learn mantras. It went above and beyond my expectations regarding the blissfulness of the pampering and the excursion organised by Zen. My main learning during the retreat was Yoga postures, chants, how we are all connected so intrinsically. Maz Round Teacher Moruya, NSW Thank you Kate for helping me through a powerful physical, emotional and spiritual experience. Your careful comments will remain a guide. It has been a shortcut to opening up to new ways of being let's hope! Moira Walker Teacher Sydney I was initially attracted to Yoga to gain flexibility and breath control. For these reasons the strong postures in Nirlipta's classes appealed to me. However Nirlipta teaches all aspects of Yoga including those of spirituality and healing. For me, personally, these have equal importance in my Yoga practice. Regular retreats are held to enhance and compliment the weekly lessons and to allow an exploration of new ideas. These are well organized and allow a deeper understanding of the self and Yoga. Nirlipta always manages to treat serious ideas and concepts with a sense of commitment and humour, which means the retreats are never dull. I can't wait for the next one! George Foster Retired Teacher Dalmeny, NSW During my 4 years as a student of Nirlipta I have gained more of a sense of control over my life and health. Nirlipta ensures that the postures, breathing techniques, meditations and relaxation skills are performed correctly with an emphasis on mind, body and spirit. I now do some Yoga every day because I have witnessed its benefits. Thank you Nirlipta. Jenni Bourke Teacher Narooma, NSW My main learning was the yoga exercises Yoga Nidra, the value of correct breathing techniques, relaxation. Kath Savage ACT I can recomment going on retreat with Nirlipta to anyone interested in waking the mind/body or letting that firelight spirit shine through. For me being on retreat is a present I give to myself. It is that time in which we can catch up with ourselves, see how we've being doing. Allow those ripples on the pond to calm and quiet. A time to release the mind. It's also about really good food. In the short retreat I undertook I saw myself blossom, in two short days the whole group grew in leaps and bounds. Stripping back the layers of cobweb life revealing our truer nature, our deeper, lighter selves. It was a profound experience. It is a moment in life which I will recall and remember my inner beauty, my strength and the wholeness that is. Namaste,
Warren Quaama, NSW Great trip, great time, lovely setting – would do it again at the drop of a hat. Silvana Perovich Property Developer Brisbane What I liked about the retreat was the peaceful and tranquil settling and the deep respect shown for the "space" needed – and the "valuation" of the feelings expressed! The bonding of the group – the supportive atmosphere. Saskia Wegmann Retired Batemans Bay, NSW |
