Yoga Meditation Day Schedule

10am - 4pm Saturday 26 April ‘08
We begin the day at 10am with learning Jala Neti (nasal cleansing with salt water). Some of the benefits of this practice are: it removes mucus and pollution from the nasal passages and sinuses, it prevents and manages asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory diseases, it alleviates allergies, sinusitis and disorders of the ears, eyes and throat, it relieves muscular tension in the face whilst giving you a fresh and youthful appearance, it soothes and balances the brain and awakens Ajna chakra.

After Jala Neti it is an ideal time to practice Pranayama and Chi Gong. Your airways are clear and the mind more focused for long, slow, deep breathing and concentrated effort to move Prana, Chi, Energy, Life Force – its all the same, through every system and cell of your body.  You will begin to experience a freedom that unblocks the flow of healing energy in and through you.
At 12 midday those not learning Jala Neti may join the rest of us and explore Sankalpa.  Sankalpa is a resolve or resolution you want to manifest in your life. During this session you will have the opportunity to get clear on your Sankalpa. Start now to contemplate and choose your life’s direction.

12.30ish  Lunch
Vegetarian and Organic Chicken Energy Soup will be served.

1.30 pm
Yoga Nidra (the body sleeps and the mind is alert) teaches you to systematically induce complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.  Releasing tension and having peace of mind is the secret of transformation.  Your Sankalpa is an important stage of Yoga Nidra. “Once the seed of sankalpa is planted deep in the subconscious, it gathers together the vast forces of the mind in order to bring about its fruition.”, Satyananda.

Pranawa Aum Pranayama is the Complete Yogic Breath and A-U-M.  It energises, harmonises and revs up the frequency vibration of the body-mind.  It balances the brain, it aligns & integrates body & mind & attunes you to the silence within.  It is here that you access Peace & Gratitude & where Healing takes place.
With your Sankalpa, (what you want to manifest in your life), and your ‘revved up frequency’ to the Universe, God, Spirit, (its all the same),  you are now ready to experience and realise yourself as the Creator. We Meditate & Create

3.15ish

“Lets Laugh” together as we continue the healing with laugher & joy.

At 4.00 pm

we complete having afternoon tea.
